Genesis is here
Genesis is now playable on the cluster, using the same server rates and mods as our other maps. Five radically different biomes await: the grimy Bog with its titan trees, the icy Arctic region, the vast Ocean with the Megachelon, the hellish Volcanic landscape, and the low-gravity Lunar biome. A boss waits at the end of each biome, culminating in the Corrupted Master Controller.
HLN-A glitches instead of Explorer Notes
Instead of Explorer Notes, Genesis has you collecting glitches – corrupted code fragments that HLN-A repairs for you. Our interactive 3D map already shows 118 glitch markers, split across Bog, Arctic, Volcanic, and Lunar. As usual, they count toward the quest system and pay out Hexagons.
While we were at it, we also fixed a bug: the quest dashboard used to drop glitch quests from the overview once you'd completed all the ones you'd already found — even if more were still out there. The list now stays fully visible as intended.
HLA: the cluster's new AI
HLA gives the cluster its own AI assistant, reachable in both in-game chat and Discord. She helps with:
- ARK knowledge with real server values – taming times, breeding times, boss tributes and more, already calculated with our cluster rates instead of vanilla numbers.
- Live dino search – "where do I find a high-level Rex?" returns real coordinates of creatures currently spawned on your map.
- Renaming your character on request, once your Discord account is linked.
- Waking, stopping, or checking server status right from chat – same rules as on the website.
In in-game chat, HLA deliberately keeps answers short (two sentences are usually enough); on Discord she's a bit more detailed. She replies in German by default, unless you write entirely in English.
