Second Chance Evolution (short: 2ndCE) is a German-language ARK: Survival Ascended PvE server cluster on its own hardware. Build, breed, and explore the ARKs without pressure – with lasting progress and a fair, community-driven system.
We are not an off-the-shelf rented server, but a passion project on our own hardware: many features are self-programmed and run server-side, completely without mods. That means maximum performance, fast load times, and features you will not find anywhere else.
Our cluster is configured as a PvE server: No raiding, no base raiding, no hostile takeovers. You can build in peace, raise your dino army, and focus on exploration, quests, and breeding.

Resource respawn: Resources regrow with a reduced respawn interval, so you can focus on actually playing.
All official maps plus exclusive premium maps are available. Maps without players hibernate after 48 hours and restart on request – directly via this website, our AI HLA, or Discord. That keeps the selection huge without wasting resources.
A quest system similar to classic role-playing games: in-game events like taming, breeding, exploring, or fighting trigger quest progress. Daily challenges arrive via the "Message of the Day," rewarding points for our fair in-game shop.

HLA is a real local LLM, deeply integrated into the cluster. It answers questions, finds wild dinos, executes admin functions, and helps in real time – available via in-game chat or Discord.
Our cluster supports crossplay – play with friends regardless of their platform. Part of the cross-travel network: travel between all maps of the cluster.
100% in-game currency, no pay-to-win. Earn points through quests and events and exchange them in the shop for useful items, starter kits, and exclusive equipment. Surprise packages are generated by custom scripts.
